Rosette Pillow

After I finished up my DIY slipcovers, I had a pile of scraps left over.....what if I turned those into pillows???

Some of the scraps even had finished edges!!!

So I found the finished edges and overlapped them to make a pocket....

With the RIGHT sides together, I sewed a square and made a little pillow cover!

Then, I had an old pillow (my favorite stuffing material!) and leftover black cloth from
my daughter's ladybug Halloween costume.....

I grabbed my hot glue gun and started rolling fabric rosettes!!

And it didn't cost a thing!

  1. Super cute. Love the fabric flowers and what a great way to use up leftover supplies. Great job.

  2. So cute! Maybe we will add this to my daughter's (scraps) Slipcovered chair. I love the black on white.

  3. I absolutely love what you did with the pillows! I like to redecorate my home, but sometimes it's just too expensive to go out and buy new pillows, lamps, curtains, etc... I am going to try making my own rosette pillows, hopefully they turn out as cute as yours. Thanks for the idea!

  4. Gotta love a free project, Love how these came out! Wish I would have seen them before I spent almost $50 on similar pillows.

  5. That looks great, Nikki! I've got tons of fabric scraps laying around that I could do this with if I had half your energy! Thanks for linking up to my party!
